Diet question for you. How much of reducing overall body fat composition do you contribute to diet vs exercise? I’m trying to tone up and looking to understand if I’m keeping my weight down, exercising regularly and eating sensibly why I’m not toning up?
Sherry,
The answer to this question is different for everyone. It also changes for each of us individually as our body ages and goes through natural changes of its own. If what you are currently doing is not work, make some adjustments. Try to find a combination that feels good – one where you are getting the kind of nourishment from food that gives you solid energy throughout the day and the type of exercise that is enjoyable and makes you thrive. A good rule of thumb is to make sure your diet is primarily plant based (centered around vegetables and fruits). I offer Wellness Coaching services if you are interested in working on this together.
