I Challenge You….

reciprocateIn the wake of so much disaster, many are left feeling hopeless and scared. We all handle “fear” in our own unique way. Most of the time, selfish or unkind behavior stems from, often unrecognized, fear. How often are you faced with a complete stranger darting negative energy into your space? Do you sometimes find yourself feelingĀ  stuck in the rut of feeling lonely and wondering who truly cares?

We don’t have the power to change how others handle their fear or how they treat us. But we do hold one very powerful card – the one that allows us to turn things around internally and readjust how WE approach all the chaos around us.

So I ask you to take this difficult, but rewarding challenge:

1. Listen MORE than you talk

2. Smile MORE than you frown

3. Show kindness MORE than you show frustration

4. Accept MORE than you judge

5. Love MORE than you hate

Pretty simple, right? Try it – and see if YOU can make the change our world needs today. A Spiritual Awakening begins with you!

 


Easy Chicken Avocado Quinoa

An easy, quick, healthy meal that is sure to satisfy the entire family!

Here is what you need:

Rice Cooker

1 C Quinoa

2 C Chicken Broth

1 lb Frozen Broccoli

1 C Water

1 lb Chicken

1 Avocado (peeled, pitted and sliced)

Parmesan Cheese

Lemon Pepper Seasoning

Here is what to do:

Cook the quinoa and broth in the rice cooker. (I let it cook while out and about doing activities).

Grill the chicken. Sprinkle with Lemon Pepper for seasoning.

Boil 1 lb broccoli in 1 C water for 8 minutes (or until tender).

Place the quinoa in a dish and chop in broccoli. Top with grilled chicken and sliced avocado.

Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese and serve!
